Counter omakase releases 30 days ahead, at 10:00 AM ET. The dining room 14 days ahead. Robata lounge is walk-in friendly for parties of two; parties of three or more can reserve up to 14 days ahead. Private dining opens 4–6 weeks by appointment.
Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM ET for the following week (Tue–Sun). Counter seats typically clear within 45 minutes. The Priority List receives a quiet note the evening before release.
We keep an active cancellation list for the counter. If you've already received a "sold-out" response for a date, email reserve@kurohanahouse.com with your dates and party size and we'll call if a seat clears.
Yes — up to 72 hours before service, we can move your date, time, or party size without penalty. Within 72 hours we'll do our best, but for counter seats held with a deposit, availability becomes limited.
Counter: yes, $100 per seat, applied to the bill. Dining room: only for parties of five or more, $40 per guest, released on arrival. Robata: no deposit. Private dining: 50% of the estimated minimum.
Smart casual. The room is intimate and quiet — guests appreciate restraint. No athletic wear or flip-flops at the counter or in private rooms. Jackets are not required but are common in the dining room on weekends.
Yes — the entrance, all dining areas, both private rooms, and the restroom are ground-floor and step-free. Tell us about any mobility, visual, or auditory needs at booking so we can prepare the seating. Service animals are always welcome.

Franklin Street (1 train) is a four-minute walk. Valet is available Friday and Saturday after 5:00 PM for $22. The Ericsson Place garage is two minutes away. See Contact for the full map.
Call the reservations desk as soon as you know — +1 212 555 0188. We hold counter seats 10 minutes past the seating time; beyond that, we'll do our best to re-seat you, but the menu may be abbreviated. Private events we hold as long as it takes.
The Tea Room seats 8. The Gallery seats 14 (22 standing). A full buyout accommodates 60 seated or 90 reception-style. All details are on the Private Dining page.
No — minimums are food & beverage only. New York sales tax (8.875%) and a 22% service charge are added to the final invoice.
The Gallery includes a 4K projector, 120" screen, wired and wireless mic, HDMI, USB-C, and a hidden sound system. The Tea Room has a discreet 55" display on request. Full technical riders welcome for buyouts.
Corkage is $85 per bottle, limit two outside bottles. Celebration cakes welcomed at a $25 plating fee. All outside items must be delivered in sealed packaging by end of business the day prior.
